Short resume and my interests

I expressed my creative spirit from an early age. Since 1999 I have been actively focusing my creative energy on painting. My eyes reveal the gifts of nature, my restless spirit is led to the sources of beauty which I interpret in my art. My main painting motifs are trees, roots, water, hills… My close connection to nature is reflected in my very name, which means ‘forest girl’. Like nature itself, painting gives me a departure from everyday life and allows me to connect with myself and find the inner peace. Creating in solitude is a result of a deep longing to retain my most intimate excess moments in which I flirt with eternity. I bestow these profound moments on anyone who comes in contact with my art.

Throughout my painting career, the I was guided by various mentors: Stanislava Stana Pudobska, academic painter, Karmen Bajec, academic painter, Špela Brenčič, academic painter, designer, costume designer David Matej Goljat, painter Petar Lazarević, Božidar Strman – Mišo, academic painter, Tomaž Perko, academic painter. In recent years, I have been deepening my painting knowledge under the mentorship of academic painter Veljko Toman.

Throughout this period I have explored a variety of art techniques and materials: from oil, dry pastel and ink, to acrylics and watercolour, which have recently predominated. The use of colours is essential for me. Colours represent a tool with which I express my feelings and flirt with the beauty of nature. Since 2003 I have been a member of the Association of Inner Culturalists “Krpan” Cerknica, since 2006 I have been a member of the Cultural and Artistic Association “Pa – leta” from Cerknica, and since 2018 I have also been a member of Ars Viva Podcerkev.

Apart from painting, I appreciate numerous other creative activities. I enjoy genuine socializing and cooperation with people, which led me to organizing many international art colonies. I also actively participate in similar events, such as ex-tempore.
